Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of ShopThisList. By uploading a list or otherwise using the site, you agree to them.

The service

ShopThisList reads a photo or PDF of a list you upload and matches each item to a real Amazon product, then builds a cart you can check out on Amazon in one click. Using the site — uploading a list, viewing your matches, and the links out to Amazon — is free. We're currently in alpha, so matching, pricing, and features may change or break without notice; any paid features we add later would cover extra tools, not access to your list or its Amazon links.

Accuracy of matches and pricing

Item matches, and any prices shown, are generated automatically from third-party sources at the time you view your list — they can be wrong, outdated, or change before you check out. Always confirm the item, price, and availability on Amazon before completing a purchase there. We're not responsible for purchases made on Amazon; they're governed by Amazon's own terms.

Accounts and uploads

You're responsible for what you upload. Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, or anything illegal, abusive, or that violates someone else's privacy. We may remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe this is violated.

Payment

There's nothing to pay for right now. If we introduce paid features later, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor, and if anything goes wrong with a charge, contact us at the email below and we'll sort it out.

No warranty

ShopThisList is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular price or match will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ShopThisList isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including losses from a purchase made on a third-party site.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
